Brick Lane, London

Graffiti & Street art, Retro style clothing market, Art exhibitions, Street market, Curry houses and Masala Chai – yes, I am talking about Brick lane.

Situated in east London, Brick lane is a vibrant place for shoppers, artists, designers and street photographers (special mention). Street photographers, we can spot them camouflaged in the crowd or at the corner of street trying to capture the mood of the market. I joined the flock last Sunday when I decided to take on my fear of photographing people on the street.

I decided to walk from Bethnal Green which is on central line on London’s tube network and within 20 minutes I found myself in the labyrinth of cobbled streets. Once one reaches here it is entirely up to him how he satisfies his soul – pleasure of shopping of jewelry, trendy clothing, delicious Bangladesi food & sweets or just take a feel of place; I was there to fight my fear.

I am posting my favorite here though it is not a street shot with people. For more photographs of Brick lane please visit my Flickr page
