A relaxing moment

img_6214

We all are running so fast in our lives that sometimes we do not take out enough time to just sit back, relax and reflect.

We must realise that living on fast lane also means the time we have on earth is slipping away just as grains drops in a sand clock.

Nothing wrong is pursuing career but take out some time for yourself, family, friends. Pursue a hobby that you love to do, share a laugh with loved ones, enjoy a lazy day doing nothing.

Life is too short to live it seriously. have fun and enjoy yourself everyday 🙂

Feather on the water – a philosophical view!

Is it possible?

Is it possible to be in the middle of ‘’corrida de toros’’,

without a shed of blood on ‘’traje de luces’’

or to be involved in all worldly affairs without getting really involved,

keeping your soul intact & pristine

Is possible to be like feather on the water!

Muse – Its my Park!

The park next to my home draws me constantly for photography or otherwise. There is so much to do and so much to see if you have correct vision else all is ordinary.

Different themes of Symmetry!

This week’s photo challenge on The Daily Post is Symmetry. My post portrays  symmetry in themes – object, composition, figurative symmetry and composition for symmetric objects.

I will start in reverse order. As an object, the below graffiti on Brick lane, London is by far symmetrical. But, all photographer capture it in their own style – some include street and some people in their composition. However, I was overwhelmed by the genius of artist that decided to compose accordingly to highlight symmetry.

The next example is absolute symmetry is object – hand crafted by mother Nature.

The next example is photograph of a window grill. The grill was topped up wire to prohibit entry of pigeons. Here, I saw an opportunity for a B&W abstract of object.

The next abstract is photo is not symmetric in literal sense but uniform infusion of colors gives an impression of symmetry.

The last one is symmetry by composition. The trees are by no means symmetric but composition gives an impression of symmetry.
